Food
Food will be available again at the camp this year. We will be able to cater for lunches and evening meals. Tea coffee and drinks for the kids will be available again from the kitchen.

We are hoping to create a wonderful community atmosphere at this camp whereby everyone has a chance to offer whatever skills they may wish to input.If anyone would like to bring along an idea for a session or workshop please get in touch and we will do our best to make it happen.We would love to be able to offer the opportunity to draw out your talents.

We also have had the offer, from Sarah, to facilitate a home education discussion forum. Sarah has had experience of this all over the place in this country and abroad. We will provide a small marquee for this to take place and it`s up to you to get involved if you like the idea.

We will be running a stall at the camp selling all kinds of bit`s and pieces including a large amount of army gear in small sizes. We will also be running a larger shop selling basics to stop the need for running down to the village so often. We also plan on having an open market day so if you have anything you want to bring and put out to sell then please do, the more the better.

All prices are plus the camp cost.
You will need to bring your own bedding for all accommodation.

18 FOOT MONGOLIAN YURT – SLEEPS 6 – 8. now let

A fully furnished,traditional Mongolian yurt.
Wooden floor with rugs and sheepskins,fitted with woodburner.Has a basic camp kitchen with cooker and all utensils.
Has 2 futons for adults and camping mats for the kids.
All you need bring is your own bedding.
All firewood included for the burner for the week.

BUNKHOUSE ACCOMMODATION – SLEEPS 8. now let

There is a converted bunkhouse available above the woodcraft barn.The accomodation is basic,but clean and warm.
Basic camp kitchen.Sleeping is on mattresses on the floor.
There is electricity and a woodburner.
The room has a combination lock so will be your own private space for the week.
All firewood and electricity included.

WE CURRENTLY HAVE 4 TIPIS AVAILABLE.SLEEPING BETWEEN 3 AND 8 PEOPLE.

All tipis include a basic camp kitchen,fire trivet,reed floors and camping mats.
All firewood is included along with a lesson on how to use a fire in a tipi.

YURPI.18 FOOT.SLEEPS 6.

We have a yurpi available.This is an individual design,midway between a yurt and a tipi.The yurpi has a basic camp kitchen, woodburner, reed floor, sheepskins and camping mats.
All firewood included for the burner.

GEODOME.SLEEPS 4 – 6.

We can also offer a geodome for hire.
Has roof windows,basic kitchen and camping mats.
There is no heating in the dome.

HOLIDAY COTTAGE.SLEEPS 3.

There is a small holiday cottage to let subject to availability.
The cottage is across the road,a short walk from the camp.The cottage is not owned by us and is let through an agency.
Has a double bed and a single bed,kitchen, shower etc.
A fully equipped holiday let.

We will have more tipi/yurt accommodation available by the time the camp comes round, if needs be.These options will be removed from the website upon booking and payment, so please check back if you find nothing available.

These 3 holiday cottages are all in close proximity to the camp but may not be within walking distance.
