Food
Food will be available again at the camp this year. We will be able to cater for lunches and evening meals. Tea coffee and drinks for the kids will be available again from the kitchen.
We are hoping to create a wonderful community atmosphere at this camp whereby everyone has a chance to offer whatever skills they may wish to input. If anyone would like to bring along an idea for a session or workshop please get in touch and we will do our best to make it happen. We would love to be able to offer the opportunity to draw out your talents.
We also have had the offer, from Sarah, to facilitate a home education discussion forum. Sarah has had experience of this all over the place in this country and abroad. We will provide a small marquee for this to take place and it`s up to you to get involved if you like the idea.
We will be running a stall at the camp selling all kinds of bit`s and pieces including a large amount of army gear in small sizes. We will also be running a larger shop selling basics to stop the need for running down to the village so often. We also plan on having an open market day so if you have anything you want to bring and put out to sell then please do, the more the better.
Adults
Nightly events for the adults.
We intend to have something of interest running for the adults every night.
This will include:
- Jam sessions.
- Disco/music night.
- Film night.
We would like to have the possibility of some live music every night so watch this space.
Family Festival at the weekend with live music, stalls and licensed bar area.
At the weekend we will have live bands playing in one of our large barns.
We will have a licensed bar on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Bands confirmed up to now include Menacer, Klonk and Modekkers, who are a band made up of home edders. We have more in the pipeline, including the possibility of some bigger names.
Alongside this we will have various stalls and attractions.
Watch this space as this area will be constantly updated over the summer.
